Program and Classrooms

BCDC has built its reputation by providing an environment that meets the emotional, social, intellectual and physical needs of our children. Each classroom is designed to stimulate the growth of the whole child in a developmentally appropriate and nurturing environment that encourages imagination and creativity.

BCDC prides itself on the longevity and commitment of our teachers to BCDC! Individuals chosen to teach at BCDC are caring, loving, and respectful of children. Staff members are selected on the basis of their experience, proficiency, resourcefulness, education and ability to stimulate children and foster their development.

Hours of Operation

BCDC is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays and staff development days (see Calendar).

BCDC is a peanut and tree nut free center. The Center serves two nutritious snacks each day. Parents are expected to provide daily lunches for their children in the Lambs, Ducklings and Bunnies classrooms. We are equipped with microwaves and refrigerators to accommodate hot or cold foods. A hot lunch, provided by Good Food Company, is served to children in the Penguins, Pandas, Fireflies and Rainbow Fish classrooms.

Enrichment programming includes music, storytelling, sports, yoga and movement classes depending on the season and availability. The Center also brings in other performers throughout the school year as well. These activities are provided to all children and are funded by donations.
